Hiking packages and other activities

 The Yli-Kaitala premises with its beautiful lakeshore offers wonderful opportunities as a home base for hiking and small excursions. You can visit, for example a Lapp hut, a traditional simple Lapp lean-to or the fishing and hiking base of Harakkakoski. The stunning lake and river landscapes are best seen by boat. We also have walking and skiing tracks (length: 5-8 km) that weave through the tranquil, pristine Finnish forests.

You can also ask for a guide, who can take you to the forest hike. There are also Päijänne and Repovesi National parks close to as well as Verla Unesco World Heritage site. You can also test your skills in photo hunting and geo-caching. Ask us for more information!
